Improved UX for a School Website in Bahrain

Vinod Babu, the director at Asian School, oversees the technology implementation. He got in touch with us in June 2016 to take our help in redesigning the school website. The school website at that stage had not been updated in a long time.
Asian School Bahrain (ASB) needs a modern website to replace the existing one. Since the school caters to the lower-middle income category of expats, the website needs to be easy to navigate and use. It also needs to serve as a content management system that allows the school administrators to share content regularly through the website and collect application form details.

We designed the website with the specific audience in mind to ensure information was easily available and the navigation was not complicated.
Features implemented in the school website project include:
- Popups for announcements
- Google Calendar Integration for sharing the school calendar
- Carousel and Image Gallery for showcasing facilities and school activities
- Admission & Application Forms for new students, current students and parents
- Custom Post Types for Newsletter, In The News & Events
- Three 1-hour WordPress training sessions to help the client manage the site on their own
